Growing up in a very conservative Christian home it was taught to me from an early age that Republicans wanted small government and republicans wanted big government. However, over the course of time I realized that was not the case. But it took hearing Harry Browne speak on CSPAN during the 1996 Libertarian Party convention to help me see the error of my thinking. He introduced me to concepts such as freedom and liberty that I had never heard explained quite so clearly. Through hearing him speak about everyone's right to live their life how they see fit as long as they do not violate the rights of others I drifted away from my Republicratic heritage and became a Libertarian.

Since then I have realized that the Libertarian Party is the only organization that truly wants to reduce the size and scope of the Federal Government and restore all of the freedoms that have been violated by the Reps and Dems. In the back of my mind I find it funny I am writing this, because back then I did not even know what true freedom meant.

If you would be interested in learning more about the Libertarian Party please visit http://www.lp.org. At that site you will find a huge wealth of information on libertarianism.

Also, please consider voting for Michael Badnarik the official presidential canidate of the Libertarian Party.

http://www.badnarik.org

Another Republicratic Day

Two main political parties rule the United States of America. These Republican and Democratic parties have been in sole control of this nation for so long that their influence and big government ideology has become the only commonly accepted viewpoint. Almost every social ill and problem in our society has a huge government program working on it, and the idea that government interference itself could be a contributing cause is frowned upon. Even though the numerous government programs solve few issues and make many worse the average person still insists on voting for one of the two major parties. It has become almost forbidden to discuss how the government should be reduced to a smaller constitutional size. It seems that every night thought haunts me about how tommorow will be...

Another Republicratic Day
